KARACHI - The first meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-N Sindh working committee, after the return of the Party Sindh President Syed Ghous Ali Shah, will be held on Monday (today) at the residence of Party provincial president. The restructuring of the Muslim League in Sindh will top the agenda of the Muslim League Sindh Working Committee meeting to organise the Party at grass-root level in the province from Karachi to Kashmore, a member of Sindh Working Committee told The Nation on condition of anonymity. He said that the Party leadership was aware about the fact that the Muslim League had a considerable vote bank in the province with the die-hard and committed party workers but all of them would not in the organise platform. "Now as the directives of Party chief Mian Nawaz Sharif, Muslim League Sindh chief has decided to organise the Party at Taluka level and oblige the die-hard workers of the Party at every level." PML-N Sindh Information Secretary Zahid Rafique Butt when contacted told The Nation that this would be the first meeting of the Party after the return of Ghous Ali Shah, who had returned after his nine-year self-exile in September. "The invitation and agenda have been given to all the members of provincial working committee to attend the meeting and give their suggestion to the leadership of Party to decide the Party future course of action," he added. More than 56 members will attend the first meeting of the party provincial working committee in which 20 members are the official members of the working committee, while remaining are the ex-officio members including the president and general secretary of the provincial wing of the PML-N. Butt said that the provincial working committee would give their suggestion about the restructuring of the PML-N in Sindh adding that the reorganisation of the Muslim League will be started from the end of October. "The meeting will also discuss the increasing price, high-inflation, deteriorating law and order and economical situation of the country." He claimed that soon the PML-N would get back their former position in the province when the Party had got 17 MPAs and 11 MNAs from the province and formed the gov t twice in Sindh. However, the Party workers which were hopeful after the return of Ghous Shah in Pakistan was still waiting an announcement from the Party leadership of restructuring the Party in the province, which has not performed since 10 years. But the Party workers have serious reservations over the return of turncoats in the Party, after the return of Party chief Nawaz Sharif and Ghous Ali Shah.
