ISLAMABAD - Roots Chinese Language Department (RCLD) Islamabad in collaboration with China Radio International (CRI) has hosted a ceremony to mark the inauguration ceremony of Youth Chinese Test (YCT) Centre and Opening Ceremony of the CRI - Roots Confucius Classroom Library.

The ceremony was held at Roots Capital Campus G-11/3, Islamabad on Friday. Wang Gengnian, President of China Radio International-CRI and Executive Member of the Council of the Confucius Institute Headquarters, was the chief guest along with Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq, CEO Roots Millennium Schools, and Idea Sponsor Roots Chinese Language Initiative, Mushahid Hussain Syed, Chairman Pak-China Institute, Principal, Managers & Coordinator of CRI-Roots Confucius Classroom, Roots Chinese Teachers Feng Deping, Yang - Jianchuan, Yeersin & Ayijiang.

The inauguration ceremony of YCT Centre & Confucius Library was held with great enthusiasm, and now Roots Millennium Schools Chinese Language Department, Pakistan, is the 40th YCT Centre in Asia and 2nd in Pakistan.

The CRI-Roots Confucius Classroom are playing vital role for bridging the gap & strengthening the relationship between two nations more and more.

On the occasion, Wang Gengnian expressed his views about these remarkable initiatives regarding Chinese Language Programme and highly appreciated the efforts being put in by Faisal Mushtaq along with the collaboration of CRI.

Mushahid Hussain Syed also expressed his views for the Pak-China friendship & highly appreciated these marvelous & long-lasting initiatives taken by RCLD.

Ch Faisal Mushtaq said, “we believe in a transfusion between the Chinese and the Pakistanis and today with the help of CRI currently 3000 Students are learning Chinese in Roots Millennium Schools with 8 full time teachers from China and 2 from Pakistan.”

He said that youth is the driving force for growth and development an empowered youth together can single-handedly change the picture of this region and highlighted the importance of Pakistan and China’s time-tested exemplary bilateral relations.
