President Mamnoon Hussain has stressed the need to restore peace in Karachi for the sake of development and prosperity of the country.

This was stated by him during his visit to the Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi Sunday morning. He offered fateh and laid floral wreath at the Marzar.

Regarding Pak-US relations, the President said that ties between the two countries have improved and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would raise the drone issue with US authorities during his visit there.

The President said economy of Karachi is lifeline for Pakistan.

He urged all stakeholders to come forward and play their role in making the peace campaign of government a success story.

“Everyone has to play his role for restoring peace in this hub of trade and industry,” the President remarked.

Sindh Governor Dr. Ishratul Ebad and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah also accompanied the President. NNI
