Rottardam- Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said the sit-ins of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Awami Tehreek in Islamabad have created hurdles in the way of the development process, state media reported today.

Addressing the Pakistani community in Rottardam city of the Netherlands, he said leaders of the two parties preferred their personal interests to the national interests. Pervaiz Rashid said the scheduled visit of the Chinese president was postponed due to the sit-ins.

Recognizing the Chinese cooperation in the field of energy, the minister said mega-development projects will be launched following the visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to China next month.
