KHBER AGENCY - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Landi Kotal of Khyber Agency Sunday staged a 'Go Nawaz Go' rally here at Bacha Khan Chowk of the main bazaar.

Scores of PTI workers, youth wing volunteers participated in the rally. The protesters were holding banners inscribed with anti-Nawaz slogans and chanting slogans against the federal regime.

The protest rally was led by local PTI leaders including Abdurraziq Shinwari, Mohammad Hakim Shinwari, Shahid Shinwari.

Addressing on the occasion, the speakers said, the Nawaz government had deceived the masses in the name of national government.

Since the creation of the country, tribesmen have been neglected and in shape of Imran Khan they have got their leader, they remarked.

The present government has broken all the previous records of corruption, they said, adding if the PTI gets the power in the centre it will devolve all uplift funds to the general people.

It is the incompetency of the last government that for more than ten million tribal people have only one University, Shahid Shinwari opined.

He said that time has come to fold the old system and initiate a new Pakistan where everyone is equal before law.


Staff Reporter from Karak adds: Provincial President of Jamaat-i-Islami Prof. Mohammad Ibrahim Khan claimed said that the army operation is in progress in tribal belt for the last 14 years without any result and demanded of the government to give timeframe for the end of operation in North Waziristan.

He was addressing the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elect district president of the party here on Sunday at Town Hall Karak.

He informed that one million people of NWA had suffered due to the operation Zarb-e-Azab and asked the government to immediately complete the operation to make sure the return of the IDPs to their homes towns.

The provincial chief informed that Pakistan suffered 100 billion dollars economically from the US war on terror and got only 22 billion dollars assistance from the foreign countries.

Ibrahim claimed that the rulers have set on fire their home through the war of others. He claimed that even today the policies of General Pervez Musharraf are being pursued in the country.

He claimed that rigging had been made in the 2013 general elections and added that the then Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin G Ibrahim had tendered his resignation over his failure in conducting free, fair and transparent election in the country.

The JI provincial chief announced that from November 21 they would launch the incomplete Pakistan Movement from Lahore and added that the country came into existence in the name of Islam.
