PESHAWAR - Three persons including two children died when a gas cylinder exploded due to leakage in Mathra area of Peshawar Sunday. Police and rescue sources said that the incident occurred at the house of Rohan Shah, resident of Mathra Kandar Khail village. Father of Rohan Shah, Munwar Shah, was asleep along with his two grandsons when the gas accumulated in the compartment of the house due to which the cylinder exploded.

The incident resulted in the killing of three persons including two children.

They were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital but they succumbed to injuries on way to the hospital. Those who were killed identified Munawar Shah, son of Azeem Shah, and his two grandsons including Asad and Asif.
