ISLAMABAD - Top seed Aamir Atlas Khan off to a winning start on the opening day of the Chief of Air Staff International Squash Championship here at Mushaf Ali Mir Squash Complex.Eight matches played on the first day. PSF Senior Vice President was the chief guest on the opening ceremony.In the first match top seed Aamir Atlas Khan defeat Aqib Hanif in only 40 minutes in straight games. The score was 11-6, 15-13 and 11-7. Kashif Khan beat Waqas Mehboob 3-11, 11-9, 11-5.  Waqas retired due to injury. Nasir Iqbal beat Ammad Fareed 12-10, 11-8 and 11-5 in 32 minutes. Farhan Zaman beat Nousherwan 11-9, 11-4 and Nousherwan retired. Farhan Mehboob beat Mansoor Zaman 12-10, 11-8 and 11-3 in 24 minutes. Saqib Yousaf beat Syed Ali Bukhari 9-11, 11-2, 12-10, 9-11 and 13-11 while Tayyab Aslam beat Kh Adil Maqbool 11-3, 7-11, 13-11 and 11-7 and second seed Danish Atlas Khan beat Hamza Bukhari 11-8, 11-2 and 11-7 in only 36 minutes in the last match. The quarterfinal matches will start at 12:pm.
