ISLAMABAD – Syed Sumsam Ali Bokhari, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, and MPA Ashraf Sohna called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf at Prime Minister’s House Wednesday and appreciated the steps taken by the government to block YouTube services in Pakistan.

The Prime Minister stated categorically that blasphemous material would never be tolerated. Islam is a religion of peace and we as Muslims respect all the religions and their religious leaders, he added.

Syed Sumsam Bokhari appreciated the decision of the Cabinet to declare Friday as “Yom-e-Ishaq-e-Rasool” which will send a clear and strong message that the love Muslims have for Holy Prophet (PBUH) knows no bounds.

The Prime Minister directed the Minister that Ministry of Information should play its role in sensitising the International opinion   makers about the sentiments of Muslims.

Meanwhile Ch Manzoor Ahmed, ex-MNA and Head of Labour Wing, Pakistan Peoples Party met Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and briefed him about the activities of his Wing.

Ch Manzoor said that the Party is working on the constitution of an Implementation Commission for implementation of labour laws.  Ch Manoor also discussed the recent incidents of fire in Karachi and Lahore in which nearly 300 workers had died.  The Prime Minister said that basic philosophy of PPP is to support workers and labourers and the neglected sections of the society.  The Prime Minister appreciated the efforts being made by Ch Manzoor in national and international forums for espousing the cause of labourers.

In response to a proposal to allocation of land to Labour Complex in Islamabad, the Prime Minister said that the he will direct CDA to allocate a piece of land for construction of Labour Complex in Islamabad.
