RAWALPINDI  - Residents of Shally Valley, Cantonment area, have showed concerns on the constant absence of sanitation workers of the area, saying garbage and filth heaps pose threat of outbreak of air-borne diseases. The residents throw garbage on the roads and streets due to the absence of waste-trolleys in the area.  The citizens said that the stench rising from the wastes made their lives miserable but the authorities concerned were not paying heed to their problems. Expressing their views, the residents said that they could be speared of the stench and air-borne diseases if the administration installed waste bins in the valley.

They demanded of the civic authorities to take notice of the absence of the sanitation workers and install garbage trolleys in the valley.
