ISLAMABAD/RAWALPINDI – Federal Government College Teachers Association (FGCTA) has strongly condemned the anti-Islam movie made on life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Spokesman of FGCTA in a statement said, ‘It is an intrigue against the Muslims and an effort to make the new generation take wrong impression of Islam. This is not an accidental move, we, the Muslims have to make strategy to confront this nefarious plan. The United Nations should take immediate notice of it’, he demanded.

President FGCTA, Professor Zahid Ali Shah said, “Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) showed the right path to the people who were in darkness and were surrounded by evil forces. His teachings are not only for one Muslim but also for the whole universe. The recently appeared movie is the insult to all Muslims.”

At the time when bloodshed was very common, people used to bury their daughters, gambling and drinking was common practices, our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) showed the people the true path, said Professor Yasmeen Bokhari, Vice President of FGCTA. ‘He asked them to give up their bad habits and customs.  He told them the simple ways to lead a better life in this world and the world hereafter. We cannot bear the insult of our Prophet. All the culprits involved in making the movie should be hanged’ she added.

Meanwhile, Punjab Professors and Lecturers Association (PPLA) Rawalpindi Division would observe complete strike today (Thursday) in all the colleges of the division to register their protest against the US-produced blasphemous film.

In this regard, the professors in all the colleges would convene protest meetings and would also dispatch protest resolutions to US Embassy to denounce the devilish act of the film producer.

This was announced by PPLA Rawalpindi Division Prof Muhammad Ilyas Qureshi while talking to media men here on Wednesday. Prof Ilyas Qureshi vehemently denounced the production of anti-Islam film saying the act of infidels harmed the sentiments of million of Muslims across the globe.

He said that through the film, the Muslims were being portrayed as terrorists and extremists whereas the religious figures were also dishonored. “All the college teachers and professors love Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) more than their parents and children and will never tolerate any blasphemous act,” he said, adding that Muslims should get united to foil the international conspiracy against Islam and Muslim Ummah.
