PIA operates 5 Haj flights

KARACHI : Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on the eleventh day of its Haj operation operated five special haj flights while carrying around 2,000 Hujjaj to the holy land.  According to the spokesman, PIA’s PK-2121 carrying 500 Hujjaj left Karachi at 7.15am, from Peshawar PK-2619 carrying 326 at 09.20am, another flight from Peshawar PK-2021 carrying 329 at 2.00pm, from Multan PK-2321 carrying 502 at 7.35pm and from Quetta PK-2721 took off at 10.00pm carrying 326 pilgrims to holy land. The departure and arrival of all flights was on time.
Till now the total uplift of intending pilgrims stand at 21,000 by fifty one hajj flights.  So far, Seven Haj flights from Karachi carried 2,913, nine flights from Lahore 4,457; nine flights from Islamabad 4,311; thirteen flights from Peshawar 4,506; seven flights from Quetta 2,298 and five flights from Multan carried 2,512 Hujjaj to Saudi Arabia.
On Friday, 20th September, a total of four special flights are scheduled to operate two from Peshawar and one each from Multan and Quetta.
