ISLAMABD - Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has denied any contacts with Javed Ibrahim Piracha hours after media reports said Taliban chief Hakimullah Mehsud had telephoned the former lawmaker from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.  According to a private television, a spokesperson for TTP said that neither Mehsud nor he himself talked to Piracha over telephone.  Earlier reports said Mehsud had made a contact with the former lawmaker.

Piracha had also confirmed that Mehsud had telephoned him and given a list of 50 prisoners and demanded their release. Piracha said the prisoners were associated with TTP and sectarian outfits Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
