LAHORE - The Punjab Food Authority imposed fine on a multination restaurant’s Gulberg Main Boulevard branch for inadequate cleanliness.
The authority’s Gulberg team raided Submarine and imposed fine for unsatisfactory cleanliness. Similarity in Samanabad, Madina Sweets was fined for doing business without licence.
Azizi Bhatti Town and Wagah town teams of PFA sealed Bread and Beyond Sweets Bakers for failure to show licence.
Another restaurant Baithak Restaurant in same town was sealed upon storage of food items improperly. PFA Nishter Town teams sealed the Pak Arab Cash and Carry in Pak Arab Society upon failing to provide food license for making bakery items.
lda dg VISITS One Window Cell
LDA DG Nabeel Javed has directed for simplifying various Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and rationalising timelines for disposing of citizens’ applications to upgrade the level of public service being extended at the One Window Cell.
He issued these directives during a visit to the One Window Cell. The officers should adopt a people-friendly approach while deciding about the applications, the Director General observed. He urged the officers for refraining from putting superfluous objections on their pleas for providing relief to the applicants.
The directed for prominently displaying names of different counters set up at the one window cell and functions performed by every counter. He further directed for reintroducing token number system for convenience of the applicants.
He directed the Director One Window Cell Fahad Anees for remaining in touch with the sub-registrars, treasury officers and other relevant departments on regular basis for swift verifications of documents of applications for their quick disposal.
The Director General listened to the complaints of a number of applicants and issued directive for redressing public grievances. He told the people that a complaint box has been placed at the One Window Cell of LDA for receiving grievance of the applicants in written form. Citizens can lodge their complaints about the working of any directorate of LDA through this box. The complaints are regularly monitored and the relevant staff is directed accordingly, he added.
