Over the past five years, the Real Madrid Foundation has held football camps across over four continents through which they have engaged more than 30,000 children. Through its soccer camps, they help children appreciate other cultures and build their soccer abilities. The camps are both recreational and educational, focusing on soccer skills as well as individual and social development,” Jaoquin said in his address at the function.

Later talking to The Nation Jaoquin said that basically Pakistan was one of those countries where football was being neglected. “There are a lot of talented children but the only thing they don’t have is platform.  We are delighted to announce the first ever football club Real Madrid Foundation campus experience in Pakistan where we believe the passion for football is big. Through this foundation we aim to provide children an opportunity to learn the game of football and the values inherent in sport,” he said.
