PESHAWAR:- As many as seven persons including two women died and four others sustained injuries when a passenger pick-up van plunged into a deep ravine in district Dera Ismail Khan on Monday. A pick-up vehicle carrying passenger was on way from Hassan Khel to Daraban area when it fell into a deep ravine on Zinda road because of over speeding. Police also said that cause of the mishap was over-speeding as a result of which the vehicle lost control and plunged into the ditch. After hectic efforts locals retrieved seven dead bodies including two women and a child.–STAFF REPORTER

Besides, four of the passengers also sustained injuries in the incident who were rushed to District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.
