Foreign reserves decrease by $95m

KARACHI:- The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $19,842.8 million on October 27, 2017. The break-up of the foreign reserves position released on Thursday showed that foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) stood at $13,846.7 million, net foreign reserves held by commercial banks are $5,996.1million, thus total liquid foreign reserves reached at $19,842.8 million. During the week ending October 27, 2017, the SBP’s reserves decreased by $95 million to $13,847 million due to external debt servicing and other official payments.–Staff Reporter
