KU inks MoU with Chinese university

KARACHI – The Karachi University has signed a MoU with Guangxi Normal University, China. Prof Dr Muhammad Ajmal Khan, Vice Chancellor KU while President of Guangxi Normal University, China Prof Dr He Zubin signed the MoU at the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat, Karachi University.

“The purpose of the MoU is to develop academic and educational co-operation and to promote mutual understanding between the two Universities. In the background of CPEC and exemplary relations between Pakistan and China, academic linkages between the varsities of both the varsities is a significant matter and dire need of today,” added Dr Ajmal Khan.

Dr Ajmal Khan met the 5 member delegation of top Chinese scientists, including the officials from different institutes of Guangxi, China. According to the MoU, both varsities will develop the collaborative activities in the academic areas of mutual interest including students’ and faculty exchanges, establishing a joint Diploma and Bachelor /Master/Doctor Degree programs, collaborative research projects, lectures, organizing symposia and exchange of academic information, publications and materials.
