Eight injured as coaster turns turtle

MIRPURKHAS – At least eight passengers, including three women, were injured when a Mirpurkhas-bound passenger coaster turned turtle near Kheri village on Khipro Sindhri Road on Thursday.

A speeding passenger coaster was on its way that suddenly a motorcycle rickshaw appeared from the front. Driver of the coaster, while attempting to save the rickshaw, lost control of the vehicle.

Resultantly, the coaster turned turtle, resulting in injuries to eight passengers, of whom five were shifted to Sindhri Hospital for the provision of first aid while three seriously injured, Munnawar, Meran, wife of Tajo, and Raza were brought to Civil Hospital from where Munnawar was referred to LMUH Hyderabad due to his serious condition.

Driver of the coaster, however, managed to escape from the spot while Sindhri police have impounded the coaster.
