PPP firm on not to hold talks with Nawaz

MULTAN-Former prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that the PPP leadership upholds its policy of not holding talks with Nawaz Sharif.
Talking to the journalists here on Saturday, he said that the PML-N Quaid is doing the politics of creating rift among institutions and fail the democracy. “It is not in the interest of the country and institutions,” he asserted. He reiterated that the general elections should be held on time and the next assemblies should be constituted in the light of constitutions. He strongly condemned Peshawar tragedy and said that it was a great tragedy for the nation. He said that PPP’s struggle for a separate Saraiki province is no more a secret.
He said that the PPP is the only political party that reinstated all workers without any discrimination fired from their jobs during any regime. He added that the workers were the real asset of the party while youth were the pilot contingent of PPP who always stood loyal to the party. He said that some opportunists quit the party in lust of offices but failed to achieve anything. He said that the workers would have to play their role to make the party successful in coming elections.
He was of the opinion that Bilawal is not the ray of hope for just the youth but the entire nation. He urged upon the workers to come out on December 15 on eve of public meeting of Bilawal Bhutto and prove that the PPP was still alive. He said that it was the PPP that took practical steps for the rights of poor citizens, farmers, students, minorities and women. He anticipated that the public meeting of Bilawal Bhutto would jolt the political horizon of South Punjab.
