Marriyum says people of Pakistan will re-elect Nawaz in 2018

Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Marriyum Aurangzeb said that people will again vote in support of ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif in next general elections of 2018.

Marriyum was talking to media outside the accountability court and said, “We are appearing before the courts because we want to show that it is important to follow the law and Constitution.”

She also said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government has produced record level of electricity in the country. “We had promised to rid the country of darkness.”

However, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairperson Fawad Chaudhry has turned down Marriyum’s statements and said it won’t change the reality.

“Just because they are claiming that load shedding has ended does not mean that it is the truth,” said Chaudhry.

PTI has started the practice of raising voice against corruption, Fawad said.
