PML-N serving people: CM

LAHORE – Calling public service a sacred cause, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said his party served people.

“On the other side, the opponents of prosperity have tried to hinder development but our government has continued the agenda of public service,” CM Shehbaz said while talking to his party delegation.

“The PML-N will continue with public service. Public welfare is unacceptable to the elements raising hollow slogans of change,” Shehbaz said, adding that conscious people would reject such elements in upcoming general elections.

He went on to say: “We has given attention to the providing latest facilities of healthcare, transport and infrastructure to people and all the resources are being utilised on projects providing relief to people. Under the strategy of composite development, the progress of backward areas is being particularly taken care of.  “Government Recep Tayyip Erdogan Hospital in Muzaffargarh is playing an important role in providing latest healthcare facilities to the people of South Punjab while Pakistan Kidney and Liver Transplant Institute is being established in the provincial metropolis.”

He said Beijing Underpass is a milestone initiative in the mission of providing better services to the people and it has helped to smooth the flow of traffic along with saving precious time of the citizens.  He said the projects are being executed speedily and transparently.  “The opponents have nothing to deliver. Despite different hurdles created by opponents, we will continue to set record of welfare and prosperity, he added. He said the government would carry on the mission of public welfare.

National development and public welfare are our first priorities and every tenure of the PML-N is filled with public service. The people have given importance to the Muslim League-N because of its record of public service and this is the biggest honor for us as service to the people is the identity of the Muslim League-N. He said that rehabilitation of the sagging economy which we inherited is the unique performance of the government and the removal of shadows of load-shedding hovering over the country for the last many years is the result of hard work of the PML-N. He said that politics of transparency, trust and service will succeed in the next elections as well.
