Bodies of NLC workers laid to rest

Quetta – The dead bodies of National Logistic Cell (NLC) workers, who were shot dead last day by unidentified assailants in Harnai, laid to rest in Balochistan’s Zhob district.

 The security of labourers working for rehabilitation of Sibi-Harnai railway track was also beefed up after the heinous terror incident took place. The bodies of three NCL workers – Asmatullah, Akhtar Muhamamd and Niamatullah – were shifted to Zhob, said Abdul Salam Achakzai, the Deputy Commissioner Harnai. Another worker suffered injuries in the terror attack was being treated.

The last rituals of three labourers were performed in Zhob and they were laid to rest amid large number of mourners in their ancestral graveyard.

The security had also been beefed up for the workers under taking rehabilitation work of Sibi-Harnai railway track about which the government has said it will be completed by the start of 2018.

The security forces have launched a search operation to arrest the culprits.
