313 militants including 17 commanders surrender in Balochistan

313 militants including 17 commanders surrendered their arms in Quetta today. 

A special ceremony was held at Balochistan Assembly building. Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri, Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa. Inspector General FC and other civil military leaders were present at the event. 

The militants came to stage one-by-one, handed over their arms and were given Pakistani flags. 

The surrendered militants vowed to become part of national mainstream political system. 

The ceremony was part of series of ceremonies held in recent years during which hundred of militants have surrendered including commander Balkh Sher Badeeni.
