Five criminals held, bikes recovered
Islamabad – Islamabad police on Friday arrested five outlaws and recovered weapons and bikes from them.
According to a police spokesman, Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Sajid Kiani had directed the officials to accelerate efforts for the arrest of dacoits and street criminals. A specially-constituted team succeeded to arrest five dacoits and street criminals later identified as Hamza, Amjad, Waleed, Zeeshan and Ahsan. The police team recovered two 30-bore pistols along with ammunition and two bikes from their possession. During the preliminary investigation, they confessed to commit street crime in sector G-10, G-9 and Blue Area. Further investigation is underway from these nabbed persons and police is hopeful for more recovery from them.
Meanwhile, Islamabad police conducted search operation in areas of Khanna police station and arrested 27 suspects besides impounding 15 bikes having no documents. The officials of Islamabad police conducted search operation under supervision of Superintendent of Police (Rural).
The search operation was also participated by police commandos, lady commandos and staff of Bomb Disposal squad.
They arrested 27 suspects besides recovering 200 gram hashish, one 12-bore gun along with ammunition and also impounded 15 bikes having no documents.
