PPP wants govt complete its term: Khursheed
SUKKUR – Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah on Saturday said that there were allegations doing rounds that Jews were funding the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He was talking to media persons at Sukkur airport. He said that the decision of Donald Trump to recognise Jerusalem as capital of Israel was dangerous for the whole world and it would create chaos.
Khursheed further said that dangerous conspiracy was being hatched against the Muslims. “Therefore Muslims should be united to foil such a conspiracy,” he asserted.
Leader of the opposition said that it was the responsibility of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran and all other Muslim countries to take up the issue of Baitul Muqqadas.
He said media was also required to play its role with responsibility so that the Palestine issue could be highlighted in letter and spirit.
Khursheed prayed to Allah (The Almighty) for peace in the whole world.
He said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) wanted that the present government completed its constitutional term, adding that no one could be the last friend or last enemy in politics.
He clarified that in his meeting with Moulana Tahir-ul-Qadri, Asif Ali Zardari had not said that he planned to bring the government down.
He said that talks were also held with Qadri on the Model Town carnage.
He claimed that PPP was the peoples’ party, and that it had fulfilled its commitments it made with the people.
