PML-N to keep foiling all anti-state plots

SIALKOT-Federal Interior Minister Ch Ahsan Iqbal has said that the PML-N government would complete its constitutional tenure while the political elements would fail in their anti-democratic designs to weaken the country.
He stated this while talking to newsmen at Narowal after inaugurating several uplift projects including Fruits and Vegetables Market. The interior minister added that the elections of the Senate will be held on time as the political elements busy in sit-ins were creating hurdles in the smooth way of national development. They are also weakening the country politically and economically, he added.
He said that the PML-N government was successfully foiling all the anti-democracy conspiracies by the political actors already rejected by the mature people of Pakistan. The government would complete its constitutional tenure and never allow anyone to derail the democratic system, he said.
Earlier, addressing a big public meeting at Narowal, he said that the government has won the hearts and trust of the people by fulfilling all the promises including the big promise of ending loadshediing of electricity. He said that the government had ended the loadshediing before the end of 2017 and fulfilled the promise by the grace of Allah Almighty and due to the effective, positive and revolutionary energy conservation and power generation policies.
He vowed to continue the journey of light by curbing the menace of ignorance and inherited darkness in the country as the agenda of the PML-N government was the agenda of light. He said that the government had established strong relationship with the masses. The government has won the hearts and minds of the people by raising the living standard of the people and ensuring the early provision of basic facilities.
He said that the PML-N would win the 2018 general elections with power of vote. He said that the relationship between PML-N and public is the relation of prosperity and progress. He said that the government was fulfilling its all promises made with the public including raising their living standard besides overcoming the energy crisis.
He said in 2013 Pakistan was considered the most dangerous country of the world due to terrorism and deteriorating law and order situation, and loadshedding was 20 hours long while the industrial activity was badly hampered due to power shortage.
He said that due to its strong policies, the government had been able to overcome the energy shortage. He said the government had completed a record number of human development projects across the country. He said that Pakistan had successfully foiled the international conspiracy of spreading sectarian violence in Pakistan.
CYLINDER BLAST: Five people were injured in gas cylinder explosion in re-filling shop in congested Pulli Topkhana locality in outskirts of Sialkot Cantt.
Shopkeeper Rasheed was refilling gas cylinders when a cylinder went off and it caught fire due to gas leakage injuring the shopkeeper and four others incliding Razzaq (37), Qasim (20), Zeeshan (12) and Arif Hakim (44) seriously. The rescuers shifted the injured to Govt Allama Iqbal Memorial Teaching Hospital Sialkot in critical condition.
