Govt’s non-serious approach to FATA reforms is an insult to its people: Imran

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has once again criticized government for delaying FATA reforms.

In series of tweets, Khan said that Government’s non serious approach towards FATA reforms is an insult to the people of that area.

“Those people have sacrificed so much but have still to be given their complete democratic rights,” writes Khan.

PTI chairman further said that delay in implementation of reforms is causing unrest in people of FATA and this will have serious repercussions.

Khan also demanded from government to table full package of FATA reforms in front of National Assembly immediately.

“This package includes abolition of FCR; extension of SC & PHC jurisdiction; & amendment in Article 106 allowing for increase of seats in KP assembly to accommodate representatives from FATA,” said Khan.
