Pakistani celebrities showing the right way to clap for transgender people

A great initiative has been taken by the ‘Asia Pacific Transgender Network’, who started a campaign with the hashtag #ChangeTheClap to let people know that there is a lot more to transgender persons.

And now, the celebrities are also playing an important role by helping this cause through their videos on social media in which they show how to actually clap for transgenders and provide them an acceptable and reputable life.

The campaign was initiated through the following video:

It’s time we change ridicule into applause. #ChangeTheClap

This 1:29 minute video shows how the things we do in fun can hurt someone’s dignity and emotions. It features Kami Sid, who in the end, creates an everlasting impression of how the mockery of cat-calling at transgender people needs to stop.
