Clerics rally for Palestine

LAHORE –  Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan has taken out rally from Data Darbar to Faisal Chowk, the Mall, to express solidarity with people of Palestine and condemn US decision to accept Jerusalem as Israel capital.

A large number of followers and supporters of the party took part in the rally which was led by TLP leaders Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi and Pir Afzal Qadri. Holding placards and banners, the participants chanted slogans against US President move. They said the decision was not acceptable to millions of the Muslims of the world.

Allama Rizvi, addressing the participants, urged Muslim world to be united against America and Israel. He said solution to the Palestine issue lied in Jihad. He said mere words and hallow claims by Muslim states rulers would not work now and they must stand practically to save the Qibla Awal from Jew occupation. He said Muslims of Pakistan are standing with their Palestinian brethrens no matter who was the master of Pakistani rulers. Allama called the government to expel US ambassador from Pakistan and sever all kind of relations with the States.
