Low gas pressure perturbs residents

rawalpindi – The domestic gas consumers of various localities in the city and cantonment areas are facing lots of problems due to low pressure.

The citizens have expressed grave concerns over low gas pressure being witnessed in several areas of the town, which is affecting routine life of the citizens.

According to the details, the consumers are facing low gas pressure in congested areas including Adiala Road, Talhi Mohri, Gulraiz, Gulshanabad, Pirwadhai, Mohan Pura, Rattaamral, Dhoke Khabba, Tench Bhatta, Peoples Colony, Mohallah Hajian, Shah Khalid Colony, Jan Colony, Dhoke Syedian and several other areas of the town.

The citizens stressed Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Company (SNGPC) to take steps for regularising the gas supply.

Meanwhile, the low gas pressure has also led to an escalation in the prices of LPG, as the residents have to rely on alternate sources for domestic use. During the past week, as much as Rs20 per kg increase in LPG prices has been witnessed.
