Nawaz, Maryum to reach Pakistan on Sunday

Islamabad: Ousted Prime Minister and President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryum Nawaz will reach Pakistan on Sunday from London to appear before an accountability court in connection with the corruption references filed against them by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

In line with sources, both father and daughter are present in London to tend ailing Begum Kulsoom Nawaz who is much better now, however, she will have to stay in London for further treatment.

A source said that high profile consultative meeting at Punjab House will be convened on 19 December which will be attended by PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, stalwart leader of PML-N Raja Zafar ul Haq and members of the central executive committee.

Options for senate election, general election, early election including political situation prevailing in the country would be discussed in a consultative meeting, sources added.

It is pertinent to mention here that Nawaz Sharif will hold meetings with allied parties on important issues.
