Following Last Prophet only way out

MIRPUR (AJK) – Speakers during the National Seerat Conference said that the life of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is only beacon of hope in the troubled times for the whole of humanity.
It was organised by the Religious Affairs and Auqaf Department of Azad Kashmir at the State’s capital town the other day.
AJK President Sardar Masood Khan said, “Allah Almighty through his last Prophet (PBUH) blessed us with a complete religion which encompasses all the aspects of our life. The life of the Prophet (PBUH) is a guiding principle for all of humanity. It is our belief that our salvation lies only in leading our lives according to practices of the last Prophet (PBUH).”
He said, “The Prophet (PBUH) was a statesman par excellence as he established the first Islamic State wherein he (PBUH) defined the roles, duties and responsibilities towards each subject of the state. Prophet (PBUH) prescribed the rights of women, minorities and orphans which are valid today and shall be valid till the end of time. The international laws and conventions that exist today have been taught to us by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) over 1400 years ago. As the greatest military commander, Prophet (PBUH) taught us the duties of combatants, rights of prisoners and protection of property during war.”
President AJK while addressing the participants said that Islam was not spread through the use of force but through morality our forefathers adopted from the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). “Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was sent onto this world as the last Prophets and the best of Prophets for he was the greatest statesman, outstanding jurist, glorious military commander, humble family man. He presented a just economic system for his followers, he said.
He said that globally, the Muslims are facing political, social and sectarian hurdles, which can only be addressed if we fully imbibe the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The Prophet’s (PBUH) preached tolerance, love, patience and most important the respect for our fellow humans.
He said that over 2 billion Muslims today have been ostracised by the west due to Islamophobia and hate speech by the media. The president said, “We as Muslims must unite and waive our ideological and sectarian differences in order to present the true picture of Islam as taught by our Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).”
He said, “Today in Indian Occupied Kashmir our brothers and sisters are in shackles and facing the atrocities of the Indian Occupation forces. Every day, our Kashmiri brethren are sacrificing their lives for their freedom and their just right to self-determination.” He emphasised the need to unify our ranks, use modern and conventional media, engage with the diaspora community and effectively persuade the United Nations to implement its resolution for an amicable settlement to the conflict.
He strongly condemned the decision by President Trump in declaring Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moving the US Embassy to the city. He added that these are very testing times for the Islamic world and we as a community must display our unity in raising our voice against this impulsive decision.
He also commended the efforts of Secretary Religious Affairs and Auqaf Syed Nazirul Hassan Gillani for organising such events which he said is a great effort in promoting inter-faith harmony.
