Clerical staff rallies for rights

OKARA –  The clerks of Public Health and Engineering Department, Population Welfare Department and Bahadurnagar Farms held a joint protest for acceptance of their demands. Hundreds of protesters gathered in front of the office of the Population Welfare Department. They were carrying banners and placards. They raised slogans in favour of their demands, demanding Punjab CM Shehbaz to upgrade the service structure of Class-4 employees, technical and non-technical staff, and regularise the contractual employees with immediate effect. They also demanded group insurance and Welfare Fund Pension for retiring employees.
