Inam wins silver in Commonwealth Wrestling

JOHANNESBURG:- Pakistan’s ace wrestler Muhammad Inam has bagged silver medal in Commonwealth Wrestling Championship after finishing second in his weight group at the completion of his matches in Johannesburg, South Africa. Inam, who went down fighting 3-6 against India’s Somweer Singh in his first bout, settled the score by beating Ajrudeen Airudeen of India 6-0 to finish second in the group. Meanwhile, Pakistan also secured four bronze medals in different weight categories. Muhammad Bilal got the bronze in 57kg weight category, after downing Canada’s Darthe Capellan.–Agencies
