Man shot dead

KARACHI –  A man was shot dead here in the limits of Nazimabad police station on Monday.

Police said that 30 years old Ammad Waseem associated with Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan was on his to home located in Samnabad locality from Matric Board office when gunmen ridding on a motorbike shot him twice and managed to flee near Abdul Sattar Eidhi Bridge.

Police rushed the spot and shifted the victim to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. Police said that deceased was supervisor at a local pizza company. Police termed the incident target killing while declined to verify the political affiliation of the deceased.

On the other side, Sacahl police found a shot dead tortured body of a young man from the bushes near Dawood Homes. Police rushed the spot as being informed by the locals while shifted the body to hospital for autopsy. Police said that deceased was later identified Rashid Hussain used to work as Rickshaw driver while hailed form Dara Ghazi Khan. Police suspect that personal enmity was the motive behind the incident.

Rangers claimed to have arrested three accused persons while recovered huge cache of weapons from their possession. Rangers spokesperson said that the accused persons Azam Abbas, Amir Abbas and Asif Abbas the real brother used to involved in illegal arms dealing while recovered one G-3 rifle, four SMGs, 2 7MM, 5 Shotguns, 1 M-4, 1 22rifle, 6 9mm pistols, one 22 pistol and 22 pistols with 2159 bullets. The accused persons were later handed over to the Sachal police for legal formalities. 

Separately, Rangers Sindh claimed to have arrested five accused persons in various raids and operations carried out in different parts of the city. The accused persons rangers claimed to have arrested were including two Irani oil smugglers and three other outlaws while rangers recovered weapons and smuggled oil from the possession of accused persons.

Meanwhile, Karachi police claimed to have arrested at least 13 suspects in different raids carried out in various localities of the metropolis. Police said that the accused persons arrested were including target killers, street criminals and drug paddlers. Police claimed to have recovered weapons and narcotics from their possession while further investigation is in progress.
