Now PTI will be held accountable: Minister

Karachi – Provincial Minister for Law and Prisons Ziaul Hassan Lanjhar on Wednesday said that the accountability process had begun in the country and after Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), now it was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) turn.

“The politics of PTI Chairman Imran Khan seems to be on the verge of an end as the party’s manager has been disqualified by the Supreme Court on the basis of irregularities,” he said in a statement issued here.

He said that both the PTI and PML-N had led the nation on the path of destruction and the accountability for the PTI would not stop here.  “Time has come when the foreign assets of disqualified prime minister Nawaz Sharif would soon be seized,” he said, adding that it was due to their irregularities that they had plunged the nation into billions of debt.

He said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan would never be able to become a good politician as his politics would remain confined to Bani Gala only. “People are fed up with the politics of Nawaz and Imran, and now it is the turn of PPP to come to power and once again serve the masses,” he claimed.

The minister further said that the confrontational policies of Nawaz were leading the nation towards destruction. “But he thinks as if he is out of the system. He will just ruin it without caring for the masses,” Lanjhar apprehended.

“Unwise suggestions given by his advisers are once again leading Nawaz on a wrong path and creating more problems for him.

“His present demeanour would even cost him the Punjab province which is his power base,” he predicted.

He said that Imran Khan, Moulana Fazlur Rehman and Pakistan People’s Party were all playing on a single side and now it would be the PPP that would fight against all of them for the rights of masses.
