Wanted ‘outlaw’ held in Guddu

Kandhkot – Police on Wednesday claimed to have nabbed a wanted criminal from the RD 17 area of Kashmore.

Abdur Razaque alias Ghurro, a man wanted in several cases of crime, was apprehended by police along with weapons.

When this scribe contacted Kashmore police spokesman Nadar Channa, he told that acting on intelligence-based information, Guddu Station House Officer (SHO) Ashgar Ali Tunio and his team raided a house in RD 17 in the jurisdiction of Guddu and caught the criminal.

He further said that various criminal cases had been registered against him at several police stations of the district.

“One TT pistol and around 30 bullets were also recovered from his possession while further investigation is underway,” the spokesman elaborated.

‘Absconders’ held

Meanwhile, Kashmore police on Wednesday also claimed to have arrested an absconder who had been nominated in several heinous cases of crime at Buxapur police station.

According to Buxapur police, a police party, on a tip-off, conducted a raid and arrested Dhani Bux s/o Mohammad Nawaz Domki from the limits of Buxapur area of Talu Mor.

Police said that Bux was wanted in connection with over five cases registered at various police stations of the district.

In yet another statement, Buxapur police said it had taken into custody another absconder on Wednesday.

Giving details, it said Doostain Jakhrani was held from Mahar Pull along with one kg of hashish. According to police, he was wanted in several criminal cases.

When contacted, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bashir Ahmed Brohi told The Nation that a warning had been issued to the criminals, especially those hiding in Katcha areas, to either surrender or otherwise police would launch a massive operation against them.

Brohi also told this scribe that police had conducted hundreds of raids in different areas of the district and had nabbed more than 200 wanted outlaws.
