Police blow the lid off blind murder

HAFIZABAD: The Vanike Tarar Police claimed to have resolved the mystery surrounded the murder of a villager of Bhoonda Tarar within 24 hours. The police arrested the allegedly killer identified as Ali Hassan, who had axed Sarwar Tarar over his alleged illicit relation with wife of the killer. According to police source, deceased Sarwar Tarar had developed illicit relation with Yasmeen, wife of Ali Hassan and the deceased was found in compromising position by the accused in his house yesterday. The accused allegedly axed him to death, packed the dead body in a sack and threw it in the village field which was spotted by the students who informed the police. The deceased was identified and shifted to the local morgue for autopsy. After registration of case, the police on a tip-off arrested Ali Hassan and his wife Yasmeen who confessed having murdered the deceased. Further investigation is underway.–Staff Reporter

 

As rulers fail, masses eye PTI

 

SADIQABAD: False promises which the rulers make but cannot fulfil have greatly disappointed the masses and they are now joining Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) – a party which firmly believes in performance not claims. These words were said by a renowned political personality, Tariq Mehmood Bajwa, during a media talk here the other day. He claimed that future belongs to the PTI. He said that Ch Sajjad Ahmad Warraich is a strong PTI candidate from PP-296 constituency, adding that people have firm confidence in him and hope that he would work for uplift of the area. He requested PTI Chairman Imran Khan to award Mr Warraish party ticket for contesting election from the constituency. It would help him win the election from the area, he added. He said residents of Chak 169 have also showed their confidence in Ch Warraich. He vowed to make all-out efforts Ch Warraich success in the next general election. Mr Bajwa blamed the government for unemployment and inflation in the country. The government has denied rights of the youth, he said, flaying the government for bringing an unbearable loss to the education system of the country.

IMRAN TERMED SAVIOUR

Rana Riaz Rafiq, PTI leader, United Arab Emirates (UAE), termed Imran Khan saviour of the nation. “Justice dispensation and prosperity of 200 million people of Pakistan is manifesto of the PTI,” he claimed. He said the PTI would spare no effort to provide basic facilities i.e. education, healthcare, clean water etc after coming into power. “State institutions cannot be strengthened without eliminating corruption,” he maintained.–Staff Reporter

 

5 charged with selling state land

 

TOBA TEK SINGH: The Gojra Saddr Police registered a fraud case against five persons for allegedly selling out state land worth millions of rupees. The accused allegedly showed the land as their own property to different persons of their village Chak 432/ JB and sold it out. Complainant Naib Tehsildar Nasir Mehmood said in the FIR that accused persons Mumtaz Khan, Laal Khan, Mumtaz Ahmad and Farrukh Abbas had prepared fake ownership deed of the state land and sold it out to different men. The police have started investigation after registration of a case.

DBA ANNUAL POLLS ON JAN 13TH

The annual elections 2018 of District Bar Association will be held on Jan 13,2018, declared election board chairman Mehr Rab Nawaz Dadooana. Talking to the media here, he informed that nominations papers will be received from Dec 22 to 26 and after scrutiny and withdrawal of papers, final list of the candidates will be issued on Jan 3.–Staff Reporter
