Kidnap case filed on court order
OKARA – On the court order, a case has been registered against the members of a gang for abducting a woman for prostitution after over two months of the incident.
On October 10, 2017, Talib Hussain of village 52/3R and her aunt Anwar Bibi were waiting for a bus at the city bus stop. Meanwhile, accused Habib, Rehmat, Kashif, Robina, Tariq, all from Millat Park, Samanabad and Saifullah of Qadirabad arrived there with weapons by a rickshaw.
They dragged Talib Hussain and his aunt into the rickshaw and sped up. When they reached by-pass of Renala Khurd, they tied Talib’s hands and legs with rope and threw him down but abducted his aunt for setting her on a brothel.
The gang is used to abduct women and send them abroad for prostitution. They also bound the women in bogus marriage on fake nikahnamas. Saif is the head of the gang. Since then, the family of the abducted woman tried to get the case of abduction registered in the B Division police station but to no avail.
Later, they filed a petition in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Hafiz Rizwan Aziz and succeeded to get the case registered on the court order.
