Pakistan’s nuclear assets are safe: DG ISPR

Director General Inter Services Public Relations Major General Asif Ghafoor has said Pakistan’s nuclear assets are safe and Pakistan has dismantled the network of terrorists, reported Radio Pakistan.

Talking to a private news channel Saturday the DG ISPR said, “now it is the responsibility of the allied and Afghan forces to eliminate the terrorist organisations from Afghanistan.”      

Asif Ghafoor said, “Afghanistan should share intelligence with Pakistan and Pakistan is ready to cooperate and coordinate with its neighbour to eradicate terrorism.”        

Although he made it clear that Pakistan will not allow any country to fight Afghan war on its soil.

He said Pakistan enjoys good relations with the United States and it needs nothing except confidence and trust from Washington.         

“Pakistan has cooperated a lot with the US and wants to continue the same diplomacy and cooperation in future too,” he added.

DG ISPR said, “Pakistan played a vital role and extended cooperation to the US in the Afghan war and we have contributed a lot in war against terror.”
