PPP senators condole with victim families of church attack

QUETTA – PPP Senators on Friday said that church attack in Quetta was actually an assault on Pakistan which the perpetrators carried out to create differences between followers of various religions.

The PPP Senators Farhatullah Babar, Sherry Rehman and Nayyar Hussain Bukhari visited houses of Church attack victims in Quetta and expressed condolence and solidarity with them.

PPP Balochistan President Ali Madad Jattak and other leaders were also present.

Talking to media, PPP Senators said that Constitution of country gives equal rights to all its citizens.

“It was fundamentally an attack on Pakistan,” Senators remarked, adding, this was meant to sow seeds of hatred between people belonging to various religions.

They maintained that the patience shown by the Christian community members in the wake of Church terror attack was commendable.

“PPP stands with the bereaved families and also ready to extend every kind of financial assistance for the healthcare services of the injured patients,” stated the PPP Senators.

Later on they also visited the Methodist Church and inspected the area.
