Ch Rahmat Ali remains to be brought in Feb

KAMALIA – The remains of Ch Rahmat Ali, creator of word ‘Pakistan’, are expected to be brought back to the country in February next year. A Pakistani origin British citizen, Ch Sarwar Noor, told this correspondent that he had had a successful meeting with the British funeral director and hopefully the remains of late Ch Rahmat Ali would be handed over in February. The body will be buried in Kamalia and all preparations have been finalised in this regard, he informed.

GIRL ABDUCTED

A girl was allegedly abducted from her house here the other day. Allah Ditta, resident of Chak 709 G/B, submitted an application to Kamalia Saddr police that Rafiq Hussain, along with accomplices, had abducted his daughter at gunpoint from his house. The police registered a case against the accused and started investigation.

suspect BOOKED

Unidentified suspects were booked with Kamalia Saddr police for stealing the crops ready to be harvested. The case was registered on a complaint submitted by Shakeel, resident of Mauza Jamal Pahar, whose crops had been stolen. Investigation is underway.

Factory looted

Unidentified thieves stole cash and valuables worth Rs400,000 from a sanitary wares manufacturing factory here the other day. According to Dipalpur City police, thieves broke into the factory owned by Tahir Zahoor near Canal Bridge on Okara-Dipalpur Highway.

They stole sanitary articles, DVD, cameras and other valuables amounting to Rs400000 and fled. The police registered a case and launched investigation.
