Nation to celebrate Quaid’s birth anniversary tomorrow

The 142nd birth anniversary of the father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is being celebrated tomorrow (Monday) throughout the country with zeal and fervour. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born on December 25, 1876, in Karachi.

The main programme of the day will be Quran Khawani and change of guard ceremony at the Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi. Sindh Governor and Chief Minister Sindh will visit the Mazar to pay homage to the father of the nation.

To mark the day, several programs including seminars, conferences and sports events have been arranged in different cities and towns to pay tribute to the great leader and highlight his life and leadership who acquired a separate homeland for the Muslims of sub-continent.

The celebrations would be aimed at educating the youth about the Quaid’s vision and Pakistan’s ideology.

It would be a public holiday and national flag would be hoisted atop all public and private buildings.

A large number of people from all walks of life would visit the tomb to pay tribute to Quaid-e-Azam for his services he rendered for the creation of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the Sub-continent.
