Orphan’s ‘killers’ held

TOBA TEK SINGH – Three boys who had allegedly killed an 18-year-old youth on Eidgah Road the other day have been arrested by city police.

Deceased Shahbaz was on his way home to Katchi Basti by foot when Suhail of Chak 395-JB and his two accomplices Ali Hasan and Tanzeel Ahmad attacked him with a sharp knife. As a result, he was seriously injured and died instantly. The accused persons had fled away while police arrested them from Muhammadi Mosque area Saturday evening.

Accused Sohail and deceased Shahbaz were playing snooker in a local club some days ago and both had quarreled during the game over which Suhail and his accomplices attacked and killed Shahbaz. The deceased was the only son of a widow namely Rashida Bibi.
