PPP to accomplish BB’s mission: Bilawal

BADIN – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was struggling to complete the mission of slain PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto (BB) and the people should extend their full support to the party for that, said PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday.

While addressing the party workers, supporters and office- bearers at Badin Gymkhana through Hologram technology in connection with the 10th death anniversary of BB to be held at Garhi Khuda Bux, Larkana on December 27, he said that leaders of the party had served the nation even when they were facing serious threats to their lives by dictators. “They even laid down their lives for the rights of people as well as for democracy,” he added.

He further said that despite threats to her life, BB returned home and continued her efforts and struggle for the rights of common people.

“BB, whether she was in opposition or in power, always defended democracy,” he recalled.

He added that though BB was no more, her memories were alive in the hearts of people of the country. “I have carried on the mission of martyrs, and will not rest until we complete their mission,” he vowed.

He hoped that PPP workers and supporters and common people from all over the country would gather at Garhi Khuda Bux on Dec 27 to pay their homage to the martyrs of Garhi Khuda Bux and BB.
