PSP’s public rally today
KARACHI – Pak Sarzameen Party, (PSP) is all set to flex its political muscles today (Sunday) to show its political might at the public rally in district central Liaquatabad considered to be the stronghold of Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).
According to details PSP public rally would be held at Liaquatabad flyover for which the over-pass has been closed for traffic on Saturday evening. PSP workers and supporters were thronged the venue throughout last night to finalize the preparations for party’s rally. PSP leaders also visited the venue last night to review the preparations themselves and to boost the morale of workers.
Earlier PSP chairman Mustafa Kamal rejecting the result of the census regarding Karachi, said that port city is going through a countless of issues and Provincial government is responsible for the miseries of the citizen. Kamal claimed party would hold a massive public gathering that would start the movement to eliminate the miseries of people on practical grounds. It is pertinent to mention here that earlier MQM-P in month of November also staged a Public gathering at the same venue against the census results. Meanwhile, the closure of the traffic on fly over resulted massive traffic jams in the surrounding areas of the Liaquatabad, Federal B area, Federal C area, Gulshan-e-Iqbal and others. The commuters got stranded into the traffic mess and waited for several hours to reach their destinations.
