Pakistan moving forward on path of progress despite challenges: PM

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi says Pakistan is a vibrant democracy and moving forward on the path of progress and development despite challenges, reported Radio Pakistan.

He was addressing annual parents day of Cadet College Hassanabdal on Wednesday.

The Prime Minister appreciated the Cadet College for its contribution towards the progress of the country through quality education.

He said the college has achieved academic excellence not only in education and sports but also in building character and integrity.

The Prime Minister announced that the Federal Government would fully fund the expansion programme of the college through its public sector development programme.

He also announced to fund integration programme of the college under which students of Balochistan are afforded coaching opportunity to enable them to take admission in the institution.

He announced an endowment fund of 20 million rupees for the college and two-month salary for faculty and staff.
