Pakistan used Jadhav family meeting as propaganda tool, claims Swaraj
Indian Foreign Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraja has claimed that Pakistan used Jadhav family meeting as propaganda tool.
According to a report by Indian media outlet NDTV, Swaraj said that Pakistan used the emotional reunion of a “mother with her son and a wife with her husband” after 22 months as a propaganda tool.
While addressing in Indian parliament house, the foreign minister blamed Pakistan for violating basic human rights.
“There was neither humanity nor goodwill. Pakistan should be condemned in the strongest words for this behaviour,” she blamed.
She further criticized Pakistan and secret agencies for taking shoes of Jadhav’s wife and for asking them to change the clothes.
She also claimed that Jadhav looked tensed and under pressure and seemed he was tutored by Pakistani authorities.
Indian Spy Jadhav met with his family for the first time on December 25th in Foreign Office building of Pakistan in Islamabad.
The step was taken by Pakistani government on pure humanitarian grounds but Indian government did not appreciate it.
Indian media and government are criticizing Pakistan for taking security measures before the Jadhav’s meeting with his wife and mother.
