Pakistan, EU sign grant financing agreement

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and European Union have signed grant financing agreement on promotion of human rights in Pakistan amounting to 9.6 million euros.  The agreement will support the continued efforts of the government of Pakistan for the promotion of human rights. The agreement also envisages enhancing the capacity of the federal and provincial institutions and would also promote and create awareness in the area of human rights in collaboration with Ministry of Human Rights, government of Pakistan.
