Sindh seeks Punjab help in launch of Welfare Eye
Lahore – On the directives of Sindh IGP AD Khawaja, AlG (Welfare) Azfar Maheesar led his two-member team to a meetin with CCPO Amin Wains and SSP Admin Rana Ayaz Saleem.
The main objective of this meeting was to get the awareness about state-of-the-art Eye Software for the facilitation of families of martyrs, according to a press release.
After success of Eye Software in Punjab, the Sindh police decided to introduce it in their province so that the families of martyrs could be facilitated, Azfar Maheesar said and thanked the CCPO and SSP Admin for their warm welcome. The CCPO said it is really plausible to re-launch of the welfare software by Sindh Police after KP Police and every help will be given for the purpose. The SSP said the software is a tribute to the martyrs of Police.
16 held with arms
The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Lahore police arrested 16 outlaws besides recovering weapons and looted valuables Saturday.
SP CIA Nadeem Abbas said that operation was conducted against outlaws in different areas of the provincial capital, Lahore.
During separate actions, the CIA police arrested 16 criminals besides recovering arms and looted valuables worth Rs65,00,000.
The detainees have admitted involvement in more than 100 crimes. The police confiscated the recovered arms, valuables and after registering separate cases against them started the investigation.
